Travel & Logistics for Chicago program

Arrival

You are traveling to Chicago, IL which is on Central time. Most major airlines service the Midway Regional Airport and O’Hare International.  Cab service is available from the airport. It is a 30-60 minute drive depending on the airport you choose and traffic.  Rental cars are available at the airport; however a car will not be necessary during your stay. Transportation fees are the responsibility of the participants.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch  and dinner will be provided each day during the program . Please let us know of any dietary restrictions or allergies that need accommodation. You may be walking to nearby locations for lunch or dinner, so it is recommended that you bring a pair of comfortable shoes.

Housing

Participants are responsible for their own lodging arrangements.  Please see the "Program Fee/Lodging" option in the menu on the left for suggested hotels.

Weather

Temperatures are variable at this time of year, please check the forecast on weather and be prepared for varying temperatures and a chance of rain .

Clothing

Business casual attire is appropriate for all classroom sessions. Due to varying temperature preferences, you may want to bring a sweater or light jacket to wear in the classroom.

Health and fitness

The Chicago campus is across the street from Grant Park and Millennium Park.

Internet Service

The Notre Dame guest wireless network is available at our facility and instructions will be given at the start of the program.
